Arts4Peace Festival Cambodia
Cambodian Living Arts (CLA) will stage the Arts4peace Festival in November 2019. This marks the dual occasion of the 20th anniversary of CLA and the 40th anniversary of the end…
Australia’s relationship with Cambodia spans 66 years of diplomatic relations, and we work across a broad range of sectors. Australia’s aid program is making a real difference to families and communities, particularly in the areas of health, agriculture and rural development, and infrastructure.
Through the Australia Awards program, Australia has awarded more than 800 scholarships for Cambodian students to study at Australian universities. These students join many other Cambodians who choose to live and learn in Australia, making it the most popular English-language destination for Cambodians who wish to study abroad.
We are also working with Cambodia across a range of areas to ensure our Indo-Pacific region is strong, secure and prosperous. We are working hard to counter terrorism, combat human and narcotics trafficking, strengthening maritime security and supporting border management.
We are excited for a big year of events in Cambodia in 2019 to mark Australia now ASEAN. We look forward to engaging with young Cambodians and finding new opportunities for collaboration and innovation!
